Sendmail IP Info App Delivers Rich, Interactive Content For Enterprise IT Users on the iPhone

The free download is a native iPhone application, available on the iPhone App Store. Sendmail IP Info offers email systems administrators the functionality of an on-the-go administrative tool to help keep their corporate email infrastructure secure and performing at optimal levels.
The continued growth of the mobile workforce has generated demand for access to enterprise information on handheld devices including the popular iPhone, wherever decisions are made, whether in a remote office or on the road. With Sendmail IP Info, critical information is made immediately available, enabling administrators to quickly and easily check to see if a given host is listed on a blacklisting service or obtain important information on a domain’s SPF records — all from their iPhone — helping them to also be effective beyond the confines of an office or wired Internet connection.

Other interactive functionalities of the Sendmail IP Info application include:
- DNSBL query: Email system administrators can check whether an email server is listed on any public DNS Real Time Black Hole List. The application lets you send a query up to three DNSBL servers at a time and view the results of the query on your iPhone.
- SPF check: SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is one of the most widely adopted Sender Authentication technologies. However, there are numerous email sites that publish incorrect SPF records, which cause various problems for businesses trying to send/receive SPF signed messages. With the Sendmail IP Info app, system administrators can check whether the SPF records of their site are properly configured.
